 What You Really Get:

 Melted cheese vs. not melted cheese and crispy bacon vs. wilting bacon.  We've got a better camera now and should avoid some of the low light problems shots like this pose.

McDonald's - Double Cheese Burger

 What You Really Get:

 Another dollar sandwich from Micky D's.

Krystal Burger - Single w/o Cheese

What You Really Get:

 Why try to hide the grey meat?  We love the grey meat!  All, in all, a pretty good image comparison.

Hardees - Little Thickburger

What You Really Get:

 Granted, the photography here isn't great, but . . . . . was there a shortage on sesame seeds in the bun factory?  This one came from a store in Pensacola, FL

McDonald's - McDouble

What You Really Get:

 What does anyone expect for a buck?  Isn't it great how the cheese is the one item that looks spot on?

Burger King - Angry Whopper

What You Really Get:

 Buger King must have hired a really good food stylist to put this one together.  The kid behind the counter didn't have a chance.  You can still find the meat, but the rest of it is a loose jumble of ingredients. 

Wendy's - Classic Single

 What You Really Get:

 Pretty darn close if I do say so myself!

What You Really Get:

 Hey, look, the lettuce is actually pretty darn close to the ad photo.  Big and Tasty, who knew.

Burger King - Whopper

 What You Really Get:

 So many fewer sesame seeds on the bun.  It is worth comparing the Whopper to the Big Mac to see which one ends up being constructed better.  Here again, we're surprised to see the carelessness of the burger maker.

McDonalds - Big Mac

What You Really Get: 

 Close on the bun and check out the cheese.  It is almost melting precisely as the photo. There was a patty of meat on the top layer.
